About me

Long before ShotnTime existed, there was a little boy walking through nature with his Oupa, Leon.

Some of my earliest memories are of birdwatching with him. He taught me to slow down, observe, and appreciate the beauty in moments that many people would simply walk past. That curiosity eventually led me to pick up a camera.

At just 14 years old, I decided to turn that passion into something bigger. Inspired by the image of an hourglass—a symbol of time and moments that can never be recreated—the name ShotnTime was born.

Today, that same philosophy still guides everything I create.

What began with photographing birds has evolved into creating cinematic films and visual stories for brands, businesses, schools, and individuals. While the equipment has changed and the projects have grown, my purpose remains the same: to preserve moments, tell meaningful stories, and create work that people genuinely connect with.

Every time I pick up a camera, I’m reminded of where it all began—with my Oupa, Leon, looking up into the trees.

What I Believe

I believe every brand, business and person has a story worth telling. Great visuals aren’t just about looking good—they’re about creating emotion, building trust and leaving a lasting impression. That’s the standard I hold every project to.
